Start with a solid understanding of blockchain and crypto fundamentals. If you are not sure about what makes a blockchain unique, what tokenized assets are or how smart contracts differ from a lawyer's contract, this is the right course for you. You will understand all building blocks of this technology so that you can design and present your own blockchain use case.
Upon completion of the Swisscom Blockchain Starter Pack, you will receive a certificate issues by Swisscom Blockchain AG in collaboration with University of Lucerne – Information Technology.

Transactions and block nodes will be explained through demo shows such as the functioning of wallets, for private as well as financial institutions. Participants will work with ERC20 tokens and get some hands-on experience with exchanges.
Smart Contract Modelling BCB300 3.0 Hours
This course provides an in-depht journey into smart contracts from its origin to its applications. Attendees will learn about the enforceability of smart contracts and how they are implemented. The focus will be set as well on how to apply the modelling framework, from its data inputs to data outputs. Lastly the participants will learn about how this code works as a business logic for decentralized applications.
Smart contract logic and deployment BCB105 4.0 Hours
This course provides an in-depth journey into blockchain implementation. It explores how to perform clean installations of permissioned blockchain deployment and the implications of running and maintaining a distributed private ledger architecture. Attendees begin exploring how to write simple smart contract logic.
Blockchain use cases BCB205 3.0 Hours
This course will set its focus on challenges of a specific industry of the audience and how distributed ledger systems are trying to solve them. Participants will have the possibility to learn about the most advanced applications in their industries and how this projects where delivered. Participants will learn about the broad potential of blockchain and get a sense of where it makes business sense or not.
Ideation Groupwork BCB200 4.0 Hours
This course will set its focus on ideating around solutions that can solve real-based use cases applicable in a certain industry. Participants will work in groups and focus on all the aspects covered in the training sessions. The outcomes of the ideation will be discussed and evaluated in the session by Swisscom experts.
The Starter Pack will be held on the ground floor of the Swisscom Blockchain Academy Office in Zürich in Müllerstrasse 16. This will give you the possibility to interact with the Swisscom Blockchain employees during breaks and lunchtime.
